At Ayah, we believe that your relationship with the Holy Quran is deeply personal and private. We have designed our application to respect your privacy completely. This Privacy Policy explains our approach to data and privacy.

Data Collection

We do NOT collect any personal data.

Ayah does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

Personal identification information
Device identifiers
Location data
Usage statistics or analytics
Reading history or patterns
Bookmarks or preferences
Any other personal or behavioral data

Local Storage

All app functionality is stored locally on your iOS device using Apple's standard local storage mechanisms:

Reading Progress: Stored locally on your device
Bookmarks: Stored locally on your device
Settings: Theme preferences and font size stored locally
Last Read Position: Stored locally on your device

This data never leaves your device. It is not synchronized with any cloud service, not transmitted to our servers (we don't have any servers), and not accessible to us or any third party.

Third-Party Services

Ayah does NOT use:

Analytics services (no Google Analytics, no Firebase, nothing)
Advertising networks or ad providers
Social media integrations
Crash reporting services
Any other third-party tracking or data collection services

Internet Connection

Ayah works 100% offline. The app does not require an internet connection to function. All Quranic text is embedded within the application at the time of download from the App Store.

Quran Text Source

The Quranic text displayed in Ayah is provided by the Tanzil Project (tanzil.net), a respected source for verified digital Quran text. This text is embedded in the app during development and does not require any network requests.

Children's Privacy

Ayah is safe for users of all ages, including children. Since we do not collect any data whatsoever, there are no privacy concerns for children using the application.

Data Security

Since no data is collected or transmitted, there is no risk of data breaches or unauthorized access to your information. Your local data is protected by iOS's security features and remains under your control.

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data because:

All data stays on your device
You can delete the app at any time to remove all local data
No account or registration is required
No data is ever sent to external servers
